20 Years IBZ-Salzchemie

It is hard to believe, but it has actually been 20 years since our company took its first steps in the world of business. These two decades have been full of ups and downs, but most of all full of successes and developments that we are proud to celebrate. Last Thursday, 7.9.2023, we had the pleasure of celebrating our 20th anniversary in Halsbrücke, and it was an event that we will remember for a long time.

The celebrations began already in the afternoon with a festive reception in the community hall Halsbrücke, which were opened with a greeting from Mr. Mayor Beger. He acknowledged our successes as part of the Halsbrücke community and thanked us for our support and commitment to the region.

Dr. Krause, Managing Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Central Saxony, offered warm congratulations and praised our company for its innovative strength and its contribution to strengthening the regional economy. She also presented us with the honorary certificate of the IHK. It was an honor to hear her words and to know that our influence reaches far beyond the company's borders.

The festivities continued with keynote speeches given by Prof. Dr. Unland and Prof. Schramm. Prof. Unland gave us a brief insight into the extent to which copper demand is increasing as a result of the switch to e-mobility, where all the copper could come from in the first place and what impact this also has on the environment. Prof. Schramm set a contrast to this raw material topic by giving us insights into sustainable lending and the background of the digital euro. Thank you very much for the very informative and interesting lectures, which gave us a small insight into quite different fields of expertise.

The second part of the festivities took place on our company premises and was opened by our District Administrator Mr. Neubauer. With a large marquee, culinary specialties from the grill bosses, several company tours, cultural interludes and many interesting conversations, the anniversary was then unfortunately over much too quickly.

Of course, a celebration would not be complete without guests and well-wishers. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our business partners, customers, friends and family members who were by our side to celebrate our success. The congratulations and gifts warmed our hearts and reminded us how important it is to work and live in such a great community.

We have accomplished a lot in these 20 years. However, we realize that this would not have been possible without our employees and colleagues. Without their hard work, dedication and passion, this journey would not have been possible. It was a heartfelt opportunity to strengthen community and team spirit.

We realize that the journey is far from over. We look forward to the next 20 years of innovation, partnerships and success. Together, we can accomplish anything.
